the location was particularly good, for example, a night bazaar was within walking distance of the hotel. great places to eat like bars and great restaurants were close by.

Welcome to the Royal Lanna, where the lobby is always buzzing with activity. I loved taking a dip in the outdoor pool and exploring the facilities that make this hotel a pleasant experience.
And who needs a safe in the room? It's much more exciting to keep all my valuables out in the open for everyone to see!

Staff were very friendly and helpfull.
The only bad thing we found was with the travel agent in the hotel reception area. We booked a trip to the night saffari and the tour guide we got hurried us a lot and gave the impression he couldn't wait to get home. He practically marched us around the saffari so it wasnt very enjoyable, so perhaps book elsewhere. However, we had no problems with the hotel besides that.

Upscale old-fashioned hotel with awesome views of the mountain. Pleasant employees at the reception desk, big and modest room. Ideal location, near Night Market. Walking distance to a market and local markets across the street. Reasonably priced restaurant for superb meal. The property of choice in Chiang Mai.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional - cheerful, helpful, and they did a great job in all areas. The location was fantastic, with easy access to bars, restaurants, and the night market. It was also close to the train station, making transportation convenient. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the breakfast options were excellent.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel in Chiang Mai. The location was perfect, with easy access to parking and 24-hour security. The value for money was excellent, making it a great choice for budget-conscious travelers like myself. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist. The rooms were comfortable and clean, offering a good night's rest. Despite some minor drawbacks like the outdated furniture and lack of elevator, I found the overall experience to be exceptional. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its great location, affordability, and friendly service.

The Royal Lanna Hotel was a great find for our stay in Chiang Mai. Its location right next to the Night Market was perfect for us, as we love exploring local markets and trying different street food. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The rooms had a minimalist decoration, but were spacious and comfortable, with a table in the middle for added convenience. We enjoyed the free breakfast in their coffee shop, with a variety of Thai dishes to choose from. The streetside view from our room was a nice touch, allowing us to experience the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
Everything was perfect during our stay at this hotel.

The room was clean, had granite tile flooring, a good AC, nice size bathroom, and sufficient TV channels. The location is great, right at the Night Market, yet the room was very quiet. The staff graciously allowed me a later checkout (2 hours), which made my stay easier. Breakfast was good and the breakfast coffee was very good.
